Zakir Naik, declared a fugitive in India, has reached Qatar to deliver religious discourse during the World Cup. Zakir Naik is one of India’s most wanted fugitives. He is accused of activities related to money laundering, terrorism, forced conversion, including insult of Hindu Gods and Goddesses.

“Sheikh Zakir Naik is in Qatar during the World Cup and will deliver several religious lectures throughout the World Cup,” Alhajri, a television presenter for Qatar’s state sports channel Alkas, tweeted. In fact, Zakir Naik had come into limelight in India since the 1990s for his religious teachings. In the early 2000s, many of his videos went viral on social media, in which Zakir Naik gave many objectionable speeches.
