Central employees may get good news this week, new update on DA and arrears
DA Hike: The central government can soon give a gift to the central employees. Dearness Allowance (DA) of central employees may increase soon. Along with this, a big announcement can also be made on the outstanding DA arrears of 18 months. If this happens, not only will the salary of the central employee increase, but getting the arrears of arrears will also give a big relief from backbreaking.
In fact, the central government has not given the arrears of DA for 18 months to the central employees. Employees are demanding long pending DA (Dear Allowance) payment. In such a situation, if the government pays the outstanding DA, then the employees will get a big relief.
Talks are also going on with the government on DA arrears
Employees have been demanding the stuck money of DA arrears for a long time. It is believed that this week itself, around January 26, 2022, the government can take a decision, after which the one-time dearness allowance can be paid to the central employees.
2 lakh profit
If the central government takes the decision, then the central employees are expected to benefit up to Rs 2 lakh. The DA arrears of Level-1 employees ranges from Rs 11880 to Rs 37554. At the same time, if money is added for Level-13 and Level-14, then an employee will be paid Rs 144200 to Rs 218200 of DA arrears.
Early talks on DA arrears
Several rounds of talks have been held between the National Council of JCM, Department of Personnel and Training and the Ministry of Finance in this regard. However, no decision has been taken yet. It is believed that in the next few days, the matter can be discussed with the Cabinet Secretary.
One time settlement of DA arrears can be done
The National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM) has put forth a demand in front of the government that while restoring the DA, one time settlement should also be done on the pending DA arrears of 18 months. If Prime Minister Modi gives the green signal, then a huge amount can come this year in the account of the employees. Shiv Gopal Mishra, Secretary (Staff Side) of the National Council of Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM), says that if we talk about Level 1 employees, then the arrears on DA are between Rs 11880 to Rs 37554. The same if we talk about level 13 employees, then their basic pay is made between Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900.
Appeal to the Prime Minister to solve the matter
Let us tell you that the matter of 18 months arrears has reached Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Pensioners Forum of India has also written a letter to the Prime Minister regarding arrears payment. The BMS has also appealed to the Prime Minister to intervene in this matter and direct the Finance Ministry to release the arrears of DA, DR withheld between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021 at the earliest.
