BJP refutes Sisodia’s allegations
New Delhi, BJP has rejected the allegations leveled by Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. The BJP has termed Sisodia’s claim as baseless and attacked him and his party, saying that leaders of a party which does not have a single MP in the Lok Sabha are claiming to be the Prime Minister. Significantly, Sisodia on Monday accused the BJP of offering him to break the Aam Aadmi Party and said that all his cases would be dropped.
Rejecting these allegations, the BJP has termed Manish Sisodia’s claim as unfounded. The BJP has retaliated saying that the Aam Aadmi Party, which is running the government in Delhi by making such statements, is trying to divert the case of alleged corruption related to the excise policy. East Delhi MP Gautam Gambhir mocked AAP’s claim of a Modi vs Kejriwal contest, saying AAP does not have a single MP in the Lok Sabha.
Rejecting Sisodia’s allegations, Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said – I will only say that those whose intention is wrong, thinking is small, what will someone break them? Targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, he said that his arrogance is being broken by the people of Delhi. Bhatia said – stop talking all these nonsense. If you have the ego that you will not answer even after looting public money by doing corruption, then your ego will also be broken and it will be ensured that every penny of the public is recovered.
It is worth mentioning that the CBI has named 15 other people and companies, including Sisodia, in an FIR registered in connection with alleged irregularities in the implementation of Delhi’s new liquor policy. Bhatia claimed that questions are being raised continuously on this issue by the BJP, but Chief Minister Kejriwal is silent as he does not have an answer. He said that in response to the questions being raised, different statements of AAP leaders come to the fore, in which there is neither honesty nor coordination.
