Lucknow | Akhilesh Yadav Elected Opposition Leader: Samajwadi Party, which is claiming to overthrow the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh for the last five years, has faced a crushing defeat in the 2022 assembly elections this time too. In such a situation, now again the party will have to continue the struggle to come to power for five years. Starting preparations for this, the party held a legislative party meeting at the party’s office in Lucknow today. In which SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has again been unanimously elected as the leader of the legislature party and the leader of the opposition.

Uncle Shivpal sidelined among newly elected MLAs
Akhilesh Yadav Elected Opposition Leader: All the newly elected MLAs and members of the Legislative Council participated in the meeting. But even then there was a lack of Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle Shivpal Yadav. He was sidelined from this meeting. For which he also expressed grief.

Akhilesh Yadav Elected Opposition Leader: Let us tell you that Akhilesh Yadav has now made up his mind to remain on the MLA post, so he resigned from Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday. Significantly, Akhilesh Yadav has won from Karhal seat in the assembly elections.
