The case pertains to a country liquor shop located in Kusmunda area of Korba district. Some youths bought liquor here on Thursday. After going a short distance from the shop, when he sat down to drink alcohol, his senses were blown away. He saw a pouch of gutkha inside a sealed bottle of liquor. After which he took his photo and made it viral on social media. The youth also informed the media about this.
Talking to the media in this whole matter, the Excise officer said that it is a serious matter to find a snake, sometimes a frog and sometimes a pouch of gutkha in the wine bottle. A letter has been written to the commissioner for action against the distillery. Action will be taken against whoever is found to be negligent.
