Sudan: Both the pilots slept in the middle of the sky, the plane kept rotating at an altitude of 37,000 thousand feet

The plane overtook leaving the runway, although no one was harmed in this accident.

We keep hearing about accidents in planes flying in the sky. Now a similar case has come to light in Ethiopia. Two Ethiopian Airlines pilots fell asleep and missed landing while flying from Khartoum in Sudan to Addis Ababa, the capital here.

According to the Aviation Herald, this incident happened on Monday. Air traffic control has issued an alert. After this flight ET343 reached near the airport. But the landing of the plane did not start. In fact, the pilots were asleep at this time and the Boeing 737’s autopilot system kept the plane at an altitude of 37,000 thousand feet. ATC tried several times to contact the pilot, but was unsuccessful. As the aircraft passed the runway on which it was to land, the autopilot system disconnected and an alarm was triggered, which woke the pilots.

However, after 25 minutes of take-off from the runway, the plane made a safe landing. After this incident, about two and a half hours later, the plane took a second flight. The good news is that no one was hurt and the plane made a safe landing.
