‘Rohit Needs A Haircut’: Wellington Trolls Indian Captain; check tweet
Australia cricketer Amanda-Jade Wellington hilariously trolled the Indian skipper for his hairstyle. Rohit Sharma is currently in West Indies along with team India and leading the side in the ongoing second Test match. India has already won the first match by an innings and 141 runs to take 1-0 lead.
Rohit slammed a century in the first Test match and in the second game he scored 80 runs. After finishing the Test series, Rohit will lead the team for 3 match ODI series.
This is the 100th Test between the two teams and captains of both India and West Indies were handed a special memento by legend Brian Lara to commemorate the occasion before the start of the game. In that photo Rohit Sharma’s hairs are looking messy, so Australia cricketer suggested India captain to get the haircut done. Here is the tweet:
Earlier, openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal looked virtually unperturbed in the first session and slammed their fifties. Rohit Sharma was the first to reach his half-century in 74 balls (5×4, 2×6) and Jaiswal, who struck a century in his maiden Test innings in the first match of the series last week, reached the half-century milestone off 49 balls as he hammered eight fours and one six.
However, the story was quite different in the second session as four West Indies bowlers picked up a wicket apiece to ensure India were in a spot of bother going into the tea break.
India’s opening stand was broken on 139 when Jaiswal fell after scoring 57 off 74 to Jason Holder, who had been the only bowler looking dangerous in the first session.
