The Indian Air Force inducted Light Combat Helicopters into the military fleet. The special thing is that this helicopter has been prepared by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
This helicopter completely built in India has been named Prachanda. Four Prachanda helicopters have been inducted into the Indian Air Force.

LCH – Light Combat Helicopter is a multi-role attack helicopter equipped with Advanced Avionic and Lethal Weapons System.
The helicopter has been designed to play an aggressive role in high altitude areas like Ladakh and Siachen, which can be easily operated.
The narrow fuselage along with the tandem cockpit makes the LCH agile for effective handling of offensive operations and better performance in combat.
The advanced technology and superior features of the LCH such as low radar cross section and minimal infra-red signature, give it the capability to penetrate enemy houses.
The LCH is fitted with two engines weighing 5.8 tonnes and according to the Air Force it has already completed firing trials from various weapons.
The LCH can also be deployed for high-altitude bunker busting operations, jungle and counter-insurgency operations as well as supporting ground forces.
Helicopters can also be used against slow-moving aircraft and opponents’ Remotely Moving Aircraft (RPA).
