Gurugram. People traveling from Manesar to Gurugram faced heavy traffic jam due to a breakdown of a vehicle on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. People stuck in the jam said it took them about five hours to reach Manesar’s IMT Chowk from Hero Honda Chowk.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) RS Sangwan said the traffic jam was caused due to a breakdown of a vehicle. Our teams are on the spot to manage the traffic and the situation is now under control. The main part of this highway has been closed for the next six days on Wednesday. This step has been taken in view of the carrying capacity test being carried out by the National Highways Authority of India on the Jaipur-Delhi lane of this highway. (Language)
