Big decision of Karnataka High Court, said- Hijab is not necessary in Islam, uniform will have to be worn in school

Bangalore | Hijab Row: The Karnataka High Court has given a big decision today in the hijab case that is hot in the country. The Karnataka High Court, while hearing the petition filed by the girl students for wearing hijab, said that hijab is not mandatory in Islam and wearing uniform in school will be mandatory. The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday dismissed all the petitions against the hijab ban. The High Court says that the students cannot refuse to wear the uniform in the school. After this decision of the High Court, the security arrangements in the state have been tightened.

Section 144 implemented in many districts, today school-colleges holiday
Hijab Row: In view of the High Court’s decision, on Tuesday, Section 144 has been implemented in many districts for security in the state. Along with this, security arrangements have also been increased outside the residence of Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court, Rituraj Awasthi. Let us tell you that many restrictions were imposed in Bengaluru even before the decision on the hijab controversy came. According to Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant, all types of gatherings, movement, celebrations in public places have been banned in Bengaluru for a week from March 15 to March 21. Dakshina Kannada DC had ordered holiday in all schools and colleges even before the verdict today. According to which, there will be external examinations, but internal examinations of all schools and colleges have been postponed.

Girls can approach Supreme Court
Following the hijab controversy, Udupi girl students had urged the High Court to allow them to wear hijab along with school uniform as it is part of their religious belief. A full bench of High Court Chief Justice Rituraj Awasthi, Justice Krishna S Dixit and Justice JM Kazi was constituted to hear this petition. In such a situation, it is now believed that after analyzing this decision, the girl students can approach the Supreme Court.

Let us tell you that a controversy arose over the demand of a group of girl students of a pre-university college in Udupi to wear hijab. Which had heated up the atmosphere in many states on sight.
