Manila. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology felt a 6.7-magnitude earthquake in the northern Philippines on Tuesday night and said it was expected to cause heavy damage. Which arrived at 22:59 local time, at a depth of 28 km, about 7 km north-west of the town of Tyneg in Abra Province, on the main island of Luzon. The institute said the quake was also felt in Ilocos Sur province and surrounding areas, including the city of Baguio.
