Yogi met the victims of Kanpur accident
Kanpur. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the victims of two horrific road accidents in Kanpur district on Sunday at Halat Hospital here and took their well being. It is noteworthy that 26 people lost their lives due to overturning of tractor trolley late on Saturday evening. On the other hand, five people of the same family were killed and ten others were injured when a truck rammed into the vehicle of devotees going to Vindhyachal Dham in the early hours of Sunday in Chakeri police station area.
Yogi has appealed to the people that awareness about road safety is the only way to avoid road accidents, so people should never travel by goods vehicles. Yogi told reporters after meeting the victims at the hospital that he met the injured in both the road accidents and inquired about their well being. He said all the injured were out of danger now. 26 people lost their lives due to overturning of tractor trolley late on Saturday evening. His funeral procession is nearing completion. Local public representatives are tying them with consolation with the bereaved families.
It is to be known that in the incident of tractor trolley overturning last night in Saad police station area of Kanpur, 26 people were killed and a dozen people were injured. The condition of three of them is stated to be serious. At the same time, a truck rammed into the vehicle of devotees going to Vindhyachal Dham in the early hours of Sunday in Chakeri police station area. Due to which five people of the same family were killed and ten others were injured.
The Chief Minister said, the second tragic incident happened at 3 am today. In this, the truck hit the loader of the devotees going towards Vindhyachal Dham from behind. There have also been 5 deaths in this incident. Yogi said that the people injured in this incident are being treated in this hospital. The hospital team is actively engaged in the treatment. (talk)
