WTC Points Table: Australia on top after defeating England, Team India at this place

World Test Championship: Pat Cummins-led Australian team defeated England by an innings and 14 runs in the third Test match of the Ashes played in Melbourne. With this, Australia has taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series. Australia has also benefited from this victory in the points table of the World Test Championship. She has reached the first place. Australia has pushed the Sri Lankan team to second place.

Australia is at number one in the points table released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), while Sri Lanka’s team has slipped to number two. This is Australia’s first series in the 2021-23 World Test Championship. She has won three test matches while Sri Lanka’s team has won two tests. The win percentage of both is 100 percent, but Australia has 36 points and Sri Lanka has 24.
