Amritsar. Punjab Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO said on Tuesday that the electricity bills of 50 lakh electricity consumers of the state have become zero as promised by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab.
The cabinet minister said that out of 72.66 lakh electricity consumers in the state, the bills of 50 lakh consumers have become zero. He said that this is the first time when more than 14 thousand MW power has been provided in the state. ETO said that people voted for us to bring change and we promised you that Punjab will be made Khushal Punjab again, where all the people of the state have been provided with basic amenities as well as employment.
Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO inaugurated works worth Rs 22 lakh 76 thousand and Rs 12 lakh 54 thousand respectively for the repair of buildings of government primary schools of Taragarh and Badala.
