Lucknow : The state government has said that the way precautions are being taken for dengue and chikungunya, similar precautions should be taken. The state government is making every effort to ensure that Zika virus does not spread from Kanpur to other districts. For this, the work of aggressive testing has been started. Today more than 3500 tests were done. Actually Zika virus is spread through the bite of Aedes mosquito. That is why all possible medical arrangements are being made.
Necessary medical arrangements have been made by the state government to prevent mosquito-borne diseases and water-borne diseases. Cases of Zika virus have been found in Kanpur, out of which 17 people have become completely healthy today.
No active case of Kovid in 43 districts
Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad informed that a total of 1,57,918 samples have been tested in the state yesterday. In which 14 new cases of corona infection have come. There is no active case of Kovid in 43 districts of the state and two-digit cases of Kovid in 3 districts. A total of 8,48,19,258 samples have been tested so far in the state.
In the last 24 hours, 6 people in the state and till now a total of 16,87,240 people have been cured of Kovid-19. There are a total of 92 active cases of corona in the state. He said that the work of Kovid vaccination is being done continuously. Yesterday, 10,27,093 doses were given in a day in the state.
He informed that the first dose of vaccine has been given to more than 10 crore people in the state. Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country to give the first dose of more than 10 crore vaccines. So far, the first dose is 10,01,96,279 and the second dose is 3,57,02,997 and so far a total of 13,58,99,276 doses have been given.
Prasad said that the Kovid infection is not completely over yet. Therefore everyone should behave according to Kovid. Be sure to follow the covid protocol even after vaccination. He said that everyone should follow the precautions being given by the state government to avoid mosquito-borne and water-borne diseases.
