New Delhi | Election One Voter List : There has been a demand for one nation one election for a long time in the country. In such a situation, the government is constantly considering the possibilities. In this regard, Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju has given important information on Friday. He has said that for these things, one has to try to understand it by breaking it. First of all, to prevent fake voting in the country, the government is considering the concept of ‘one nation, one voter list’. Along with this, the idea of online voting system is also going on. Rijiju said this while answering the supplementary questions of the members in the question hour in the Lok Sabha.

Government is trying to stop fake voting
Election One Voter List : Giving information in response to the supplementary question of Ajay Nishad of BJP, the Law Minister said the above things. The Law Minister said that there is an idea to bring only one electoral roll for all the states and union territories to prevent bogus voting in the entire country. He said that we have spoken to the Election Commission in this regard. Recently, a provision has been made to link the voter list with Aadhaar. It is not mandatory, it is voluntary. But this has the potential to be successful in stopping bogus voting.

Election One Voter List : Union Minister Rijiju said that necessary steps will be taken for further electoral reforms. One nation, one voter list is the thinking of such a government. There should be a clean voting system in the country. Responding to a supplementary question on giving franchise to overseas Indians, the Minister said that it is a positive suggestion. He said that we have spoken to the Election Commission in this regard. Rijiju said that they are considering how the online voting system can be encouraged.
