‘Roger Binny’ replaces Sourav Ganguly, becomes BCCI President unopposed

New Delhi | Roger Binny BCCI President: Former India cricketer Roger Binny has become the BCCI President. 67-year-old Binny, who was elected unopposed, will now replace Sourav Ganguly and take over as the 36th President of the BCCI. Let us tell you that Sourav Ganguly remained in this post from 2019 to 2022.

Today on Tuesday, the AGM meeting of BCCI was held at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. In which Secretary Jay Shah, former President Sourav Ganguly, Vice President Rajiv Shukla, Treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal and Roger Binny participated. In the meeting, Roger Binny was handed over the post of BCCI President unopposed.

State body will have to leave the post
Roger Binny has been the coach of Bengal cricket team. Apart from this, Binny has also been the selector of the Indian team. It has been revealed in the information that, former Indian cricketer Roger Binny was the President of Karnataka State Cricket Association in his recent tenure but now after being elected as BCCI President, he will have to step down from that state body.
