The health team reached among the villagers by walking 10 km

Raipur. Efforts are on to change the lives of common people and provide them better facilities in Chhattisgarh. In this sequence, efforts are being made to provide health services to all. An example of this was seen in the extreme Naxal-affected district Dantewada, where the health staff reached the remote village by walking 10 km. On the one hand, health services are being given to those coming to the Haat-Bazar in the state, and on the other hand, the staff of the Health Department is reaching from village to village. The medical team is providing health facilities to the people even in remote and sensitive areas of Dantewada.

The medical team of the Health Department reached the village Bengapal by walking about 10 kms and through the hills and treated the villagers by setting up camp there. This 22-member medical team consisted of medical medical staff. Inaccessible and inaccessible areas are constantly being visited by the medical team of the Health Department. The medical team reached Bengapal, the dependent village of Gumiyapal, the village panchayat of Kuaconda, Kuaconda. In this village with a population of 380 people, health check-up of about 108 people was done by the health department. In which malaria was also investigated. Along with lab examination of symptomatic patients, distribution of free medicines, mosquito nets were done. The villagers were made aware about the precautions necessary to prevent various seasonal diseases including malaria by the doctors and para medical staff of the medical team. Pregnant women and children were also examined by the medical team.

During the screening of the children in the camp, two children were referred for admission to the NRC due to severe symptoms of malnutrition. It is worth noting that special initiative is being taken by the district administration to provide health facilities to the people there by identifying all the inaccessible and sensitive areas of the district. Along with the medical treatment of the people in the village, facilities for various pathology tests are also being provided by the medical team. Apart from this, free medicines are also being provided to the villagers. (IANS)
