Team India’s head coach Ravi Shastri and other members of the support staff can leave for India from England on Wednesday. Before the fourth Test between India and England, Ravi Shastri and two other members of Team India’s support staff Bharat Arun and R Sridhar were found to be Kovid positive. However, before returning on Wednesday, it is necessary for all of them to have two negative RT-PCR reports.
According to a senior BCCI official, “Ravi, Sridhar and Arun are completely healthy and have no symptoms of Kovid. Their RT-PCR test will be done on Monday. September 15 is the date fixed for their return to India from England.” If the RT-PCR report comes negative, then these three can return to India on this day. However, the final decision will be taken by the medical team only.
