By the way, on the very second day of the massacre, the evidence of the connection of the matter with Pakistan has been found. 10 Pakistani numbers have been found in the mobile phone of one of the accused and it is being said that both the accused, who made the video after killing Kanhaiyalal Sah, were associated with a Pakistani organization Dawat-e-Islam. It is being told that one of the two accused had gone to Nepal twice and one of the accused had also gone to Karachi in 2014. Many organizations have appealed for a bandh in Rajasthan on Thursday in protest against the incident.

Considering the possibility of an outside hand in the incident, the central government on Wednesday directed the NIA to take over the investigation of Kanhaiyalal’s murder as a terrorist act. The central government has said that the NIA should find out whether any international organization is involved in this incident or not. It is worth noting that on Tuesday in Udaipur, two people killed Kanhaiyalal with a sharp weapon and made a video of it and put it on social media. Both the accused said that they are taking revenge for the insult to Islam. After four hours of the incident, both the accused – Ghaus Mohammad and Riyaz Akhtari – were arrested.

On Thursday, a day after the incident, state Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that his government has taken the matter seriously. He said such incidents cannot be carried out without the involvement of radical elements at the national and international level. On Wednesday, Kanhaiyalal’s body was handed over to the family after post-mortem. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria also reached Kanhaiyalal’s house on Wednesday.

The Rajasthan Police had arrested both the accused on Tuesday and in the initial investigation, it was revealed that both the accused were influenced by the terrorist organization ISIS. After that the Union Home Ministry had sent a Special Investigation Team, SIT to Udaipur on Tuesday night itself. A day after that on Wednesday, the investigation of the incident was handed over to the NIA and asked to investigate it as a terrorist incident. Significantly, the slain Kanhaiyalal had supported the statement given by Nupur Sharma, the national spokesperson of BJP, on Prophet Mohammad. Because of this, the accused killed him by slitting his throat.
