Akhil Giri’s indecent remarks on President unfortunate: Arjun Munda

Ranchi. Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda made a statement on President Draupadi Murmu of West Bengal’s Mamata Banerjee government and TMC leader Akhil Giri has reacted sharply.

Shri Munda said that the manner in which Akhil Giri has made derogatory remarks on the President of the country is condemnable and unfortunate. It is surprising that the government of West Bengal, where there is a woman Chief Minister and members of its cabinet are openly making such indecent remarks on the women tribal President of the country. Mamta Banerjee herself should give an explanation in this matter. Because TMC minister has given such a wrong statement. On whose behest he has given this statement, this statement is insulting to the country. Such a minister should immediately sack Mamata Banerjee from her cabinet and apologize to the country for such statements.

Mr Munda said that the statements of the TMC leader make it clear that this is in the character of TMC. The Government of West Bengal has been exploiting the tribals of the country and also the tribals of West Bengal. I strongly condemn this, as these statements are causing unrest.
