Surat: The chamber will give tricolor to its more than 50 thousand members to hoist the national flag from door to door for three days.
In the online meeting, the leaders of the industrial unions-organizations took the moral responsibility of participating in the plan of the Tricolor with Aan, Ban and Shaan.
A nationwide celebration of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program will be celebrated to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the heart of every citizen of the country under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. As part of which an online meeting was organized under the aegis of Dakshin Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the chairmanship of Paresh Patel, Chairman, Standing Committee of Surat Municipal Corporation on Friday, 29th July, 2022.
In this meeting Himanshu Bodawala, President of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, then former President Ashish Gujrathi, Honorary Minister Bhavesh Taylor, Honorary Treasurer Bhavesh Gadhia, former President of the Chamber Praful Shah, Rajendra Chokhawala, Nilesh Mandlewala, PM Shah, Sharad Kapadia, Rupin Pachchigar, Premkumar Sharda and fiasco president Bharat Gandhi, South Gujarat Processing Association president Jitendra Wakharia, Laskana Industrial Estate’s Haribhai Kathiria, Sachin Mayurbhai Golwala of GIDC, Bhupendra Chahawala, vice-president of Wedroad Weavers Association, Deepak Sethwala and Bashir of SITA. Mansoori, Dharmendra Singh Solanki of Vansda, Girdhargopal Mundra, Vijay Mewawala, Hardik Shah, B. s. Agarwal, Janak Pachigar, Asha Dave, Dr. Anil Saraogi, Praveen Donga, Ketan Jariwala, Nikhil Madrasi, Neeraj Modi, Dharmesh Vaniyawala, Manoj Singapura of Nero Fabric Association, Kamlesh Lalani of Bardoli, Sudhir Savalia of Vapi, Krishnakant of Surat Textile Club Kharwar, Dr. Jaynaben Bhakta, CA Niket of the Association of Chartered Accountants, joined the office bearers of various industrial associations of South Gujarat.
Surat Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee Chairman Paresh Patel said, “Har Ghar Tiranga” program will be organized from August 13 to 15 across the country. To increase the respect for the tricolor among the people and to set a new example of patriotism, it is necessary that the tricolor should be hoisted at every house. So he requested traders and industrialists to participate.
Chamber President Himanshu Bodawala said, “As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program, the Chamber will give tricolor to more than 50,000 members for the purpose of hoisting the national flag at home for three days. Industrial associations of South Gujarat including Surat will be contacted and they will also be included in this function and arrangements will be made from the chamber to provide flags to them as per their requirement. He strongly urged the industrialists to strengthen the national spirit by hoisting the tricolor in factories, their homes and artisans’ houses and merchants’ houses and shops.
The leaders of the industrial unions in the city took the moral responsibility of unfurling the tricolor at all factories, mills, units, markets, offices and buildings in the textile sector by planning in advance, so that everyone would participate in the tricolor scheme of every household.
