UP: TSI, two constables suspended for bribery

Lucknow. A traffic sub-inspector (TSI) for allegedly demanding bribe from a truck driver at a busy underpass in Sushant Golf City area of ​​Lucknow. And two constables were suspended.

According to a statement issued by the police, Joint Commissioner of Police Piyush Moradia noticed a truck parked at Abhimanyu Underpass on Saturday night and inquired about its driver. According to the statement, TSI Raju Bhaskar and two constables Dharmendra Singh and Ankur took the driver aside. The driver complained that all three were demanding bribe from him.

Acting on the allegation, Moradia suspended the TSI and two constables. A departmental inquiry has also been ordered against them. (Language)
