Didn’t get a single safe seat for Yogi ji? Ex IAS question

The BJP has announced the names of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the party has also announced from which seat he will contest, defying the predictions being made about the seat of Yogi Adityanath. Earlier such speculations were being made about contesting the election of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi that he may contest from any assembly seat in Ayodhya or Mathura. But on Saturday, the party’s UP election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan put an end to all the speculations and announced CM Yogi to contest the upcoming assembly elections from Gorakhpur city seat.

There is a lot of rhetoric on social media regarding Yogi Adityanath’s seat, while Akhilesh in a press conference on Saturday quipped that the question is about contesting the elections. Sometimes they used to say that they would fight from Mathura, sometimes they used to say that they would fight with Ayodhya, sometimes they used to say that they would fight from Prayagraj, sometimes they used to say that they would fight from Deoband. I am glad that the Bharatiya Janata Party first sent him to his home. Although he had booked the Gorakhpur ticket on 11th earlier. Now I feel that he will have to stay in Gorakhpur, now there is no need to come back from Gorakhpur. Many congratulations to him.

On the other hand, Samajwadi Party’s national spokesperson IP Singh said, ‘Yogi ji finally ran away seeing the displeasure of the Brahmins of Ayodhya. This time he is contesting from Gorakhpur, his bail is sure to be forfeited. He ran 50 helicopters in Ayodhya in five years, yet he could not believe in his own development.

Journalist Rohini Singh, while targeting the BJP, wrote that the media which till yesterday was telling Yogi Adityanath’s fight from Ayodhya as a ‘masterstroke’, the same media will now tell him to be fought from Gorakhpur as a ‘masterstroke’. Relationship same, seat new.

National Youth Congress National President Srinivas said tauntingly, ‘Now Yogi ji will remain in Gorakhpur even after the elections.’

Former IAS Surya Pratap Singh tweeted and wrote that not a single safe seat was found for Yogi ji, neither in Ayodhya nor in Mathura. From now on they have been sent to Gorakhpur.

Sanjay Sharma, editor of 4 PM, writes that after the displeasure of Brahmins in Ayodhya and the discontent of saints, Yogi Adityanath gave up his intention to contest elections from here! CM Yogi will fight from Gorakhpur!
