Silver rings robbed by chopping off the feet of an elderly woman
Jaipur. Jaipur Police has arrested a person in the Galta Gate police station area of the city on Sunday morning for robbing a silver weeder by cutting off the leg of a hundred-year-old woman. Police Officer Mukesh Khardia said on Tuesday that accused Prakash Prajapat (27) was arrested from Toda Meena (Jaipur) of Jamvaramgarh on Monday night and the looted cows have been recovered. He told that on Sunday morning, the accused robbed 100-year-old Jamuna Devi, a resident of Meena Colony, by cutting both her legs with a sharp weapon and robbing her of silver.
He told that Jamuna Devi, a seriously injured woman, died during treatment at Sawai Mansingh Hospital in Jaipur at 1 pm on Tuesday. He said that a case has been registered against the accused under sections 407, 397,452, 302 and 4/25 of the Arms Act against the accused and the accused is being questioned. The police officer said that the accused was an old tenant of the elderly woman. Police said that during preliminary interrogation, the accused told that he robbed the elderly woman and cut off her legs to repay the loan. (Language)
