Several agreements signed between India and Nepal, PM Modi launched RuPay in Nepal

New Delhi | India Nepal Relationship: Today witnessed many new agreements between India and Nepal. Several MoUs and documents were exchanged between the two countries in the presence of the Heads of State of India and Nepal. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba jointly flagged off the cross border passenger train service between Jayanagar (India) to Kurtha (Nepal).

PM Modi launches Indian payment service system RuPay in Nepal
India Nepal Relationship: During this, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi jointly with the PM of Nepal, launched the Indian payment service system RuPay in Nepal. Simultaneously, the two Heads of State also inaugurated the Solu Corridor 132 KV Power Transmission Line and Substation in Nepal constructed under the Line of Credit of the Government of India. With this, now Nepal has officially joined the International Solar Alliance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that, I am particularly happy that Nepal has become a member of the International Solan Alliance. This will promote sustainable, economical and clean energy in our region.
The introduction of ‘RuPay’ card in Nepal will add a new chapter in the connectivity of our economy. PM Modi said – Deuba ji is an old friend of India
India Nepal Relationship: Prime Minister Modi said during this that, India has been and always will be a firm partner in Nepal’s journey of peace, prosperity and development. PM Modi praised Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and said that Deuba ji is an old friend of India and this is his 5th visit to India as Prime Minister. He has been instrumental in developing India-Nepal relations.
