Secret of Vyapam scam uncovered from anonymous letter
Bhopal. An anonymous letter has played a big role in the disclosure of the Vyapam scam of Madhya Pradesh, which has been recognized in the country as the biggest scam of the education world, but where is this letter still? The puzzle remains unsolved. The Vyapam scam in the state was exposed in the year 2013, which is almost a decade now, but neither the face of the master mind has been exposed nor the entire chain has come to the fore till now. Who has played a big role in this. Not only this, no one knows where is the anonymous letter disclosing this matter.
The present Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said many times in the past that an anonymous letter had come to him regarding the complaint of fake examinees and on the basis of that he had given instructions to the police. After that it was revealed in the year 2013. At this time no one is ready to tell where this anonymous letter is. Earlier, during the Congress government, the then Home Minister Bala Bachchan had said in the House, the department does not have any anonymous letter regarding the Vyapam issue. This letter was searched at the departmental level but could not be found. It is to be known that the big disclosure of the disturbances in Vyapam happened for the first time during the PMT examination on July 7, 2013, when a gang came under the custody of the crime branch of Indore.
This gang used to put fake students in the PMT examination. The then Chief Minister Chouhan handed over the matter to the STF in August 2013. The matter was being investigated by the ATF, when the High Court took cognizance of the matter and constituted the SIT in April 2014 under the chairmanship of Justice Chandresh Bhushan, a retired judge of the High Court. ), under whose supervision the STF continued to investigate. On July 9, 2015, it was decided to hand over the case to the CBI and from July 15, the CBI started the investigation. According to the available information, cases were registered against 1450 students in the scam of PMT entrance exam to be conducted by Vyapam and family members were also made accused.
Altogether around 3000 people were made accused. The status of the Vyapam scam and the ongoing investigation can be understood on the basis that about 75 percent of the complaints in this case will go unnoticed. 1355 complaints of Vyapam scam were received, out of which 917 have been rejected, investigation is going on in 423. Not only this, out of 217 cases handed over to the CBI by the STF for the period between 2004 and 2013 on the directions of the Supreme Court, challans have been produced in only about half of the cases. In the PMT scam, only about a dozen cases have been found guilty. Apart from this, investigation is going on in 150 cases. (IANS)
