‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame Vaishali Takkar commits suicide: Neighbour wanted to marry forcefully

Actress Vaishali Thakkar, who played the character of Anjali Bhardwaj in the popular TV show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, has committed suicide. The body of 30-year-old Vaishali was found at her home in Indore’s Sai Bagh Colony. She also got a lot of popularity from the role of Sanjana in Star Plus’s famous TV serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. According to the police, Vaishali has hanged herself.

According to Indore’s ACP M Rahman, Vaishali Thakkar was harassed by a boy named Rahul living in the neighborhood, due to which she committed suicide. Vaishali was about to marry another man, but Rahul broke it so that he could marry Vaishali himself. Rahul is absconding since Vaishali’s suicide, police is looking for him.

7 hours after the body was found, the family informed the police.
Indore Police handed over Vaishali’s body to the family after the post-mortem. According to local reports, Vaishali had committed suicide on Saturday night itself, but the family informed the police in the morning. Police have recovered an 8-page suicide note from the spot.

Since the police got information about the incident after 7 hours, now the investigation of the suicide note will be done by a handwriting expert. In the suicide note, Vaishali has also written the names of two boys and girls, who have asked to be punished.

After Vaishali’s death, a debate has started among people associated with the TV and film industry regarding the increasing suicide. 

Vaishali had postponed her marriage due to Corona, on
26 April last year, she got engaged to Dr. Abhinandan, a dental surgeon from Kenya. The information about this ceremony, which took place in the presence of close people, was given by the actress by sharing the video. Both were to get married in June 2021. However, the actress postponed the wedding plans after a month.

Behind his decision, Vaishali had cited the increase in the Corona case. In an interview, Vaishali had said, ‘I cannot marry in such a situation when many people are losing their lives to Corona. If the situation is better by next year, we will get married.

Vaishali Thakkar started her acting career with Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Vaishali played the role of Sanjana in this show. She appeared in this series from the year 2015 to 2016. In the famous TV show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, Vaishali played the role of lead star Simar and Prem’s daughter Anjali. Vaishali has since appeared in TV shows like Yeh Vaada Raha, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Sasural Simar Ka, Super Sisters, Laal Ishq and Vish Ya Amrit, Manmohini 2 .

for Best Actress in a Negative Role for playing the role of Anjali Bhardwaj in Sasural Simar Ka serial. She was last seen in the Manmohini show in 2019.

Vaishali, who was last seen in the shooting of Rakshabandhan,
was last seen on the sets during the shooting of the serial ‘Raksha Bandhan: Rasal Apni Bhai Ki Dhal’. This serial was based on a brother-sister relationship. In this Vaishali played the role of Kanak Singh Thakur. This show came on Dangal TV.

Sushant, Jia and Pratyusha Banerjee had also committed suicide.
Earlier actors and actresses like Sushant Singh Rajput, Jiah Khan, Asif Basra, Kushal Punjabi and Pratyusha Banerjee had also committed suicide. Apart from these, actors like Siddharth Shukla, Swami Om, Jade Goody also said goodbye to the world.
