Raut changed his voice as soon as he was released from jail.
Mumbai Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray faction leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut’s tone has changed. Sanjay Raut, who was lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail for more than three months, did not attack the central government or the Prime Minister after his release from jail. On the contrary, he talked about going to meet the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister. He praised the Eknath Shinde government of the state and also said that he would soon meet Devendra Fadnavis. Significantly, after Shinde’s rebellion against Uddhav Thackeray, he was continuously attacking Raut.
Significantly, a day earlier on Wednesday, the PMLA court in Mumbai granted bail to Sanjay Raut in the Patra Chawl scam case. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut reached Matoshree after coming out of Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai. There he met former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. After this both of them held a joint press conference. Raut said that a new government has been formed in Maharashtra and the government has taken some good decisions, I will welcome them.
Raut said- We feel that the state is being run by Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis and he is leading the state. In his case, Sanjay Raut said- Those who had hatched this conspiracy, if they would have got pleasure, then I am their partner in it. I have no complaints against anyone. I will not blame the entire system or any central agency. He further said that he had never seen such political vendetta till date. Raut said that Uddhav Thackeray supported in times of trouble.
Sanjay Raut did not blame any central agency i.e. ED for the action, but Uddhav Thackeray suggested the closure of the ED. While praising Raut, he said – Sanjay you are ours. Today is not that day. The order of tomorrow is ideal for the country. Everyone knows what the agencies are for the state and the centre. People will now raise the question that why ED should not be closed? Raut’s tone changed but he made it clear that he would never leave Shiv Sena.
