Crude oil prices fall
Brent crude prices are seeing a decline of 3.91 percent in the international market, after which Brent crude is seen at $ 70.57 per barrel. At the same time, WTI Crude prices are seeing an increase of 0.48 percent, after which WTI is at $ 66.50 per barrel. Due to the continuous fall in the prices of crude oil, soon there may be a cut in the prices of petrol too.

• The price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 103.97 and the price of diesel is Rs 86.67 per liter.
• In Mumbai, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 109.98 per liter, while diesel is at the level of Rs 94.14 per liter.
• The rate of petrol in Kolkata is Rs 104.67 and the price of diesel is Rs 89.79 per liter.
• Apart from this, the price of petrol in Chennai is Rs 101.40 and the price of diesel is Rs 91.42 per liter.

Government earned double from petrol and diesel
Let us tell you that in the year 2020-21 of Corona epidemic, the Central Government’s income from excise duty on petrol and diesel has doubled. In 2020-21 (from April 2020 to March 2021), the central government has got revenue of Rs 3.72 lakh crore from excise duty on petrol diesel whereas in 2019-20 only Rs 1.78 lakh crore was received as excise duty.
