Review of preparations for Ravan Dahan in Ranchi

Ranchi. In Jharkhand, Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal took stock of the preparations for the Ravana Dahan program at various places in the capital. Taking stock of the preparations for the Ravan Dahan program to be held in Morhabadi, Argora, HEC Shalimar, Tupudana in the capital Ranchi, the top officials gave necessary directions to the concerned officials for better arrangements from a protective point of view.

Deputy Commissioner Sinha informed that this year Ravan Dahan program is sponsored at five places in Ranchi. The program of Ravana Dahan is being organized in Morhabadi, Argora, HEC Shalimar, Hundru and Tupudana for many years. This year also preparations have been made for the Ravan Dahan program on a large scale. During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner gave necessary guidelines from a protective point of view. He told that the police force and magistrate have been deputed regarding the program of Ravana Dahan. Along with this, traffic lining for VVIP movement has also been completed. He informed that wherever Ravan Dahan programs are being organized, fire brigade vehicles will be present. The Deputy Commissioner said that during the Ravana Dahan program, there will be fireworks under the supervision of experts.

Deputy Commissioner Sinha informed that administrative preparations have been completed. The Deputy Commissioner directed the deputed police officers/magistrate and police forces to be fully prepared so that there is no lapse in the security arrangements. The Deputy Commissioner requested all Durga Puja committees to do immersion on 06 October so that the preparations for the International Cricket match to be held in Ranchi from 07 and 08 October could be done smoothly.

Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Kaushal said that wherever Ravan Dahan programs are being organized in Ranchi, basic security and safety arrangements are being made there. Adequate number of police force and magistrates will be deputed with barricading. He said that necessary distance would be ensured through police force and volunteers during the program so that no untoward situation arises. SSP Shri Kaushal said that a large number of people come to the Ravan Dahan program, regarding this, changes will also be made in the traffic plan, which will be conveyed to the people through the media.
