Normal activities restored in Rajouri

Jammu. Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri city on Saturday lifted restrictions imposed under Section-144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and normal activities resumed. However, officials say that police and paramilitary forces have been deployed in large numbers in sensitive areas.
It is noteworthy that in view of the land dispute between the two groups, a precautionary prohibitory order was issued on the orders of District Magistrate Vikas Kundal to maintain law and order. Due to this, curfew-like conditions were seen in Rajouri city on Friday.
