Noida News Today: In view of the sudden increase in the demand for oxygen in the second wave of corona, now complete arrangements for oxygen have been made. In Kovid Hospital, where four oxygen plants of 2500 liters per minute capacity have been installed. Oxygen plants of 1000 and 500 liters per minute capacity are present at various health centers of the district. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma gave this information.
He said that although no case of Omicron has been reported in the district so far, still precautionary vigilance is necessary. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma said that 4582 beds have been reserved in 31 hospitals of the district to deal with Kovid. The health department is ready to deal with any emergency. He told that there is adequate arrangement of oxygen in the district. 11 oxygen plants have been made functional in various government hospitals including two community health centers, Bisrakh and Dadri.
686 Oxygen Concentrator Arrangement
At the same time, there is a provision of 686 oxygen concentrators at other community and primary health centers. These concentrators will help to deal with emergencies immediately. He said that there are six such private hospitals in the district where there are adequate arrangements for oxygen. The Health Department has instructed these hospitals to be alert.

CMO (Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma) said that surveillance of people coming from other states has been increased. The team of the department posted at the bus station is conducting a corona investigation of the incoming passengers. He told that if the antigen report of any person comes positive, then RTPCR test will be done immediately. Meanwhile, he will be kept in isolation.
Monitoring of respiratory patients increased
Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma (Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma) said that government and private hospitals have been instructed to keep a strict vigil on respiratory patients by issuing alerts. If any patient shows symptoms of ILI (Influenza Like Illness) and SARI (Severe Acute Respiratory Infection), immediate vigilance should be taken.

The CMO said that in case of symptoms of cold, cough, fever ILI (Influenza Like Illness) or Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI), immediately consult a doctor and get your Kovid test done. This facility is available free of cost by the Health Department.
Get both doses of the vaccine
Dr. Sharma said that by getting the anti-covid vaccine, the risk of seriousness of Kovid reduces to a great extent, so if people who have not got vaccinated so far, they must do it. Along with this, people who have taken only one dose of the vaccine so far must also take the second dose on time.
