The interrogation of the accused is going on. On November 15 last, the police had received information about theft in this temple. The unidentified persons had managed to gain access to the strong room of the temple and took away the offerings and cash etc. in about six gunny bags.

Five police personnel were also deployed for security in the temple premises. But he was not present at the time of the incident. The accused had raked the temple premises for several days before carrying out the incident. After this, the incident was carried out at the time when the security personnel went to sleep. Two accused in the case, Anil Khare and Shubham Kataria, residents of neighboring Narmadapuram district, were taken into custody two days ago for questioning on suspicion. He confessed to the incident of theft and two sacks of money were also recovered from him.
