Monsoon session of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly begins
Ranchi. The Monsoon session of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly began on Friday. Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahto congratulated Governor Draupadi Murmu through the House for being elected as the 15th President of the country. He expressed hope that with Draupadi Murmu becoming the President, the dignity of this highest constitutional post will attain a new record. Draupadi Murmu, the first woman representative of the tribal community and the country’s top constitutional post, has also been the first governor of Jharkhand. His tenure lasted from 18 May 2015 to 12 July 2021.
He expressed confidence that Draupadi Murmu as the President would become the custodian of Indian cultural values ​​and a pioneer of tribal upliftment. He said that no doubt his election as the President will strengthen the empowerment of the common people as well as the tribal and women’s society in particular, which will prove to be meaningful for the country’s tribal community and Indian democracy. His presence as the constitutional head of the country is the proof of a healthy, ideal and conscious democracy for every Indian, in which any person can become the first citizen of the country from the last line.
