Meet Sayam Pradhan, India’s Youngest Blogger
Sayam Pradhan is an Indian blogger and author notable for both his youth and his writing on a variety of topics. He is known to be among the youngest bloggers in India. Aged 16, he has authored 2 books, ‘The Darkest Web’ and ‘Transitioning from Traditional Data Centers to Cloud Computing’, and written more than twenty articles which are published on such platforms as Thrive Global, Youth Ki Awaaz, Times of India, etc. Additionally, he is one of the first to talk about the Bias in Artificial Intelligence in his article ‘Can AI Be Biased?: Think Again’. He writes about self-help, motivation, artificial intelligence, and technology. He has been featured in the ‘India Reading Olympiad 2020 – Role Model’ magazine and received a certificate of recognition from the Food 4 Thought Foundation for encouraging reading.
Sayam was born on April 5th, 2005 at the Military Hospital in Kamptee, Nagpur. His father served for 20 years in the Air Force. When he was 3, his father retired and the whole family moved to their origin place in Odisha State. At a young age, Sayam started learning technology. Soon, he was called a ‘tech-geek’ by his classmates and relatives. He thanks his father who took a step in teaching him the technology.
Pradhan started his journey of learning computers from an IBM Thinkpad laptop. In 2014, when he was in 4th grade, he created his first Facebook account, which shocked everyone around him. In 2014, it wasn’t common for kids to have social media accounts. His father has always been supportive of him. He started blogging at the age of twelve when he became interested in computers.
At only 16, Sayam has accomplished a great deal in his life. Asked about an explanation for his success, he said, “I believe that my success is the result of a combination of good fortune, hard work, support from family and friends, and excellent mentors. All of these things have always been with me.” His success journey has been an inspiration to all people, especially young people. He is continuously inspiring everyone with his writing and success.
