Meerut News: In the last 24 hours in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, 15 new cases of Kovid (Corona Case In Meerut) were reported. Now the number of active patients in the district (Active Corona Case In Meerut) has increased to 46. Today 15 people have been found positive in the investigation of 4,495 samples of Kovid.
Send samples of newly found patients to Delhi for genome sequencing: CMO
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Akhilesh Mohan said that 4 patients are admitted in the hospital while 42 patients are undergoing treatment at home. According to Dr. Akhilesh Mohan (Chief Medical Officer Dr. Akhilesh Mohan), samples of newly found patients will be sent to Delhi for genome sequencing. 70 more people have come from abroad. Since November 21 till now, 2354 people have come, out of which 1,358 have been tested, 9 people have gone back without investigation, 192 numbers have been repeated. He said that from January 3, 3.20 lakh adolescents in the age group of 15 to 18 years will be vaccinated.
Till now infected were being found in unit digit every day. By the last week of December, new cases of infection have suddenly started increasing. The increasing number of corona patients is being considered as the beginning of the third wave. Taking lessons from the old mistakes, this time the Health Department and the administration have made their preparations right. More than 50 hospitals ready to deal with Kovid-19
CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan said that to deal with Kovid-19, more than 50 hospitals including three big colleges, five private hospitals, all government hospitals have been prepared. Adequate quantity of LMO, Cylinder, Capsule, Oxygen Plant is available. 28 oxygen plants are active in the district. Oxygen plants have also been installed in private hospitals. In government and private hospitals, more than 6000 beds have been kept safe for corona patients. A 100-bed Piku ward has been prepared for the children in the medical college. More than 500 ventilators are available in government and private hospitals in the district.
