Maruti Suzuki Cars Get Expensive, Check Latest Rates Before Buying

Maruti Suzuki Price Hike: The country’s largest car company Maruti Suzuki India has increased the prices of many of its models by up to 4.3 percent. Giving this information on Saturday, the company said that it has had to take this step to partially reduce the burden of increase in production cost. The company has increased the prices of its various models by 0.1 to 4.3 percent.

Increased rates of many models
In the information sent to the stock exchanges, the company said that the weighted average price of various models in the Delhi showroom has increased by 1.7 percent. The new prices have become effective from today. Maruti sells models from Alto to S-Cross. Their price ranges from Rs 3.15 lakh to Rs 12.56 lakh. Last year, Maruti increased the prices of its cars three times.

Rates hiked by 4.9%
In January last year, Maruti had increased prices by 1.4 per cent, in April by 1.6 per cent and in September by 1.9 per cent, or 4.9 per cent overall. The company had said last month that it would have to increase the prices of its vehicles due to the rise in prices of essential commodities such as steel, aluminium, plastic and precious metals in the past one year.

Price hiked 3 times a year
Let us tell you that the company had increased the prices 3 times in the year 2021 as well. In January last year, the company had increased prices by 1.4 per cent. At the same time, prices were increased by 1.6 percent in April and then by 1.9 percent in September. The company had increased the prices by 4.9 percent overall in the year 2021.
