New Delhi. Former Congress MP Mahabal Mishra joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Paharganj on Sunday in the presence of Arvind Kejriwal. However, Mahabal Mishra’s son Vinay Mishra is the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Dwarka seat. It was already being speculated that Mahabal Mishra might leave the Congress and join the Aam Aadmi Party.
Now those speculations have come to an end and former BJP MP Mahabal Mishra has joined the Congress party in the presence of Kejriwal. His son MLA Vinay Mishra was also present on this occasion. During the Municipal Corporation elections, the Congress has been shocked when such an old Congress leader and former MP Mahabal Mishra joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Mahabal Mishra has been a Congress MP as well as an MLA. He is considered an old and veteran leader of the Congress. His leaving the Congress party at the time of municipal elections can affect the party.
