Gold becomes cheaper on Diwali, silver prices also fall, know today’s latest price

Gold Silver Rates: On the day of Diwali, there has been a decline in 24 carat gold and silver on Thursday. The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has fallen by Rs 440 to Rs 47,410. At the same time, silver also fell by Rs 2,330 to Rs 62400. On Thursday, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold was Rs 46,410. Note that the price of gold jewelery varies across the country due to state and central government taxes and making charges.

Prices fluctuated on Thursday, due to which the price of 24 carat gold in the capital Delhi has gone up to Rs 50,900. Similarly, in the financial capital Mumbai, the price has come down to Rs 47,410. The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has gone up to Rs 48,760 in Chennai and Rs 49,990 in Kolkata.

The demand for gold in the country had fallen drastically due to the corona virus epidemic and lockdown. But now the prices are rising again. This year gold prices ranged between Rs 47000 to Rs 49000. According to the World Gold Council’s September quarter data, the demand for gold increased by 47 per cent to 139.1 tonnes as compared to the corresponding period of the previous financial year. As the situation of corona virus in the country eased, the demand for jewelery also saw an increase of 58 percent as compared to the previous year. According to experts, gold prices are expected to rise by Rs 52000-53000 in the next 12 months.
