- Kaka Ji is an Indian singer, songwriter, and music composer primarily working in the Punjabi music industry. He was born in a financially weak family in Chandu Majra, Patiala. During his school and college days, he actively participated in singing competitions. Kaka attempted to join the Indian Army but was rejected due to being one inch shorter than the required height. While in college, his parents wanted him to focus on his studies rather than singing. After completing his graduation, Kaka worked as an architect at PUDA (Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority), earning a monthly salary of 25,000 rupees. Kaka Ji initiated his singing career by uploading the video of his song ‘Scene 4’ on his YouTube channel. Later, the video was taken down. He gained fame with the song “Keh Len De” (2020), followed by releases like “Teeji Seat” (2020), “Libaas” (2020), “Dhoor Pendi” (2020), and “Temporary Love” (2020). In 2022, he released Punjabi songs like “Hadsa,” “Mitti De Tibbe,” and “Ki Likha.”Kaka Ji is fond of riding bikes and prefers motorcycles over cars. He has a passion for fitness and visits the gym regularly. In an interview, he shared that he loves his dusky complexion and never feels ashamed of it. He established a free library in his village with a building shaped like a violin and books. He’s often seen smoking and drinking at parties and events.
