The newly elected Central Executive of the Union of Electrical Engineers made a courtesy call on the Additional Chief Secretary (Energy)

The delegation of the newly elected Central Executive of Electricity Engineers Association today made a courtesy call on Mahesh Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy), Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

While performing departmental work in various areas in the state, on the incidents of frequent beatings with engineers, to ensure strict action against the culprits and in view of the safety of the engineers, demanded the implementation of ‘Engineers Protection Act’ at the earliest. An appeal was made to create a conducive work environment.

Along with this, a detailed discussion was held on meaningfully resolving other problems of the engineers and improving the consumer service in the state. President of Engineers Association Rajiv Kumar Singh and General Secretary Jitendra Singh Gurjar issued a statement and said that today the Central Executive had cordially with the Additional Chief Secretary (Energy).
