Harbhajan Singh on R Ashwin Record: Star Ashwin has become the third most successful bowler in the history of Indian Test cricket. He overtook Harbhajan Singh by taking the 418th wicket of his career against New Zealand in the Kanpur Test. Ashwin achieved this feat by dismissing Tom Latham on the fifth day of the game. Harbhajan Singh has reacted to this achievement of Ashwin.
Harbhajan refused to compare himself with Ravichandran Ashwin saying that both of them have done their best for India. Talking to PTI, Harbhajan congratulated Ashwin. He said that I wish he could take many more wickets for the country. He said I never believed in comparison. I did my best for the country in my time and Ashwin did his best in his time. Harbhajan Singh also congratulated Ravichandran Ashwin on the social media platform.

Harbhajan wrote on Twitter that congratulations Ashwin, many best wishes. stay blazed. Ashwin equaled Harbhajan’s number of wickets with the wicket of Will Young in the final session of the fourth day. Former India captain Anil Kumble leads the chart with 619 wickets, followed by the great Kapil Dev with 434 wickets.
Ravichandran Ashwin needs 16 more wickets to overtake the former Indian fast bowler. Talking about the overall records, former Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan leads the chart with 800 wickets. It is followed by Shane Warne (708) and James Anderson (632) of England.
