If ATM or debit card is lost, then block it online like this, know step-by-step process

In today’s time, where the circulation of cash is decreasing, the use of ATM or debit card is increasing continuously. During the Corona epidemic last year, the RBI also recommended reducing cash transactions and using online payments more. But what if you lose your ATM or Debit card? In such a situation, apart from the phone, you also have the option to block them online. Learn here how you can use this option.

What to do if you want to block SBI ATM

Login to SBI NetBanking with username and password.
There go to ATM Card Services and take the option of Block ATM Card which will be there in the E-Services tab.
There select the account whose ATM or Debit card is to be blocked.
The first 4 digits and the last 4 digits will be shown in the next part, which will be of active and blocked cards.
Select the card you want to block and then verify the details and submit it.
Authenticate yourself in the next step – either through OTP or through profile password.
After that enter OTP or profile password and click on confirm.
After this, you will get the message of completion of the process in the form of ticket number, which should be kept for future reference.

In this way, SBI customers can block their ATM card or debit card online.
