Jumped 17 places in batting
ICC Test Rankings Jadeja: Batting brilliantly against Sri Lanka, Jadeja scored an unbeaten 175. Due to this, his batting ranking has jumped 17 places. Now they have moved from 54th to 37th place. After this, he also took nine wickets, which made him 17th in the bowlers’ rankings. With this, he once again became the top all-rounder, replacing Jason Holder. Holder remained at number one position since February 2021.

Jadeja was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’. In the same list, India’s Ravichandran Ashwin is ranked third, while Axar Patel is ranked 14th. Among the batsmen, Virat Kohli has climbed two places to the fifth position while Indian captain Rohit Sharma is at the sixth position. While Rishabh Pant, who scored 96 runs in Mohali, is in tenth place. Talking about the bowlers, Ashwin is in second place while Jasprit Bumrah remains in tenth place.
