Meerut BJP leader dies in road accident

Saharanpur. A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gaurav Chauhan was killed and four people in both the vehicles were injured in a head-on collision between a car and a pickup in Deoband police station area of ​​the district on Sunday.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Suraj Rai said that there was a head-on collision between a pick-up vehicle going from Saharanpur to Muzaffarnagar near Saidham temple on the highway and the car of a BJP leader, a resident of Meerut, coming at a high speed from the front. were badly damaged.

Rai said that as soon as the information of the accident was received, Deoband police station reached the spot and the injured were immediately taken to the primary health center where doctors declared BJP’s Meerut district executive member Gaurav Chauhan brought dead. He said that among the injured were Yash Chauhan resident of Pallavapuram and pickup rider Satish and his wife Lakhmiri and driver Nayum resident of district Barambaki were referred to the Higher Center after first aid.
