Begusarai. During the reception ceremony of a bride and groom in Ballia police station area of Bihar’s Begusarai district late on Monday night ,joy firing, The groom’s friend died due to bullet injuries during the ceremony. The police gave this information on Tuesday.
Ballia Police Station President Abhay Shankar said that the help of CCTV camera footage installed nearby is being taken to identify the shooter. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar of Khagaria district. Ravi had come to attend the wedding reception of his friend Sanjay Sharma, a resident of Ballia police station area.
The police have taken the body into custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. When Ravi was on the dais with the bride and groom, someone started firing to welcome the girl, in which one bullet hit Sanjay in the chest, killing him.
