Government gives relief to pensioners, extended date of submission of life certificate, check new deadline

Life Certificate Submission Deadline: There is good news for pensioners. The Central Government has extended the date of submission of life certificate to the pensioners till 31 December (31 December 2021). Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh has given information about this. He said that the government has taken this decision due to the Corona epidemic.

Life certificate to be given
Earlier, the last date for giving life certificate for pensioners was 30 November, which has been extended by the government. Let us tell you that to get pension, pensioners have to give life certificate.

Certificates can also be submitted online
Singh said that pensioners can submit this certificate during the extended period by visiting the branch themselves or digitally through the online system.

follow social distance
The minister said that the pension disbursing banks have been directed to take adequate steps to avoid overcrowding at their branch and ensure compliance with social distancing measures, so that the epidemic can be prevented from progressing.

These documents will be needed
Let us tell you that some documents will be required for the pensioners to submit the life certificate. For this, you will need Aadhar number (Aadhaar), Pension Payment Order (PPO) number, bank passbook for bank account details, photocopies of all these, mobile number linked with Aadhaar and name of Pension Sanctioning Authority. .
