Big relief for Delhi Capitals, all players from England to UAE

IPL 2021: Delhi Capitals has got a big relief before the second part of the Indian Premier League season 14 starts. The players of Delhi Capitals, who were part of Team India on England tour, have reached UAE. This information was provided by issuing a statement on behalf of Delhi Capitals.

The players who reached UAE included Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma, Axar Patel, Prithvi Shaw and Umesh Yadav. All these players were tested for COVID-19 upon their arrival in the UAE. However, after reaching the UAE, the path of these players is not going to be easy. According to IPL rules, players will have to go through a strict six-day quarantine.

Players will have a Kovid-19 test every other day during the quarantine. After three test negatives, these players will get entry in the bio bubble. The rest of the players of Delhi Capitals, however, have already completed their quarantine period after reaching UAE and these players have also started their practice.

Delhi Capitals remains on top

There has been a lot of improvement in the performance of Delhi Capitals in the last two years. The team of Delhi Capitals currently remains at the top of the points table and it is almost certain to reach the playoffs. Last year, Delhi’s team was runner-up in the IPL. He had to face defeat against Mumbai Indians in the final.

Delhi Capitals’ star all-rounder Chris Woakes, however, has decided not to play in the remaining matches of IPL 14. The replacement for Chris Woakes has not yet been announced by Delhi Capitals.
