Rajasthan: Case registered against five including son of Congress MLA in gang rape case

Jaipur | Gangrape Congress MLA Crime : The ever-increasing crime against women in Rajasthan remains a matter of concern. Once again the case of gang rape of a 15-year-old minor in Dausa district is in the news, in this case big names are being revealed one after the other. It has been told that a case has been registered against five people, including the son of Congress MLA from Rajgarh, Johri Lal Meena. The police gave this information on Saturday. According to this, the incident is of February when the accused took the girl to a hotel on Mahwa-Mandavar road and carried out the incident. He also made obscene videos to make threats.

Medical examination of the victim

Gangrape Congress MLA Crime : Giving information on this matter, Mandawar station in-charge Nathu Lal said that a case has been registered against three named accused including Deepak Meena, son of Rajgarh MLA. Two others have also been booked under gang rape and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. The case was registered on Friday based on the complaint of the family members, he said. Medical examination of the victim has been done and statement has been recorded.

Threatened to make video viral on social media

Gangrape Congress MLA Crime : Police said one of the accused took Rs 15 lakh in cash and jewelery by threatening to make the victim’s video viral on social media. In this case, the family members had lodged a complaint of theft. The police investigation found Sharma’s involvement, after which the victim girl dared to share the ordeal with her mother. The main opposition party BJP has targeted the Congress government of the state regarding this issue. BJP state president Satish Poonia has said that when allegations of rape are made against the son of a Congress MLA, not only is Rajasthan ashamed, the law and order of Rajasthan is questioned.
